FIA to investigate CSS exam answer-sheets tampering


ISLAMABAD: Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) Saturday sent a reference to Federal Investigation Authority (FIA) to investigate into the tampering of Central Superior Services (CSS) examination answer-sheet parcels, Geo News reported.

Taking notice of the news broken by Geo News, a spokesperson of the FPSC confirmed that FPSC had discovered the seals of some insured parcels from a sub-center in Faisalabad were tampered.
He added that FPSC in its initial inquiry found out the problem was confined to a sub-center in Faisalabad.

Taking due cognizance of the delinquency, the FPSC has also constituted a two member committee comprising Members of the Commission to look into the violation.

Moreover, Director General (DG), Pakistan Post, Islamabad, was also moved to conduct an inquiry into the delayed receipt as well as tampering of insured-parcels and submit a report as soon as possible.

The DG, Pakistan Post has confirmed that the seals of certain insured
parcels have been tampered with.

FPSC has also requested the DG, FIA to urgently carry out a thorough investigation so that the culprits involved in the affairs would be brought to book and trust of CSS examinees could also be restored.
